Indigenous Girls and Boys groups in our Primary Sector were introduced in 2021 and are run by our Community Liaison Officer, Ms Sonya Ball. The inaugural students involved, from Years 5 and 6, named the groups 'BPC Deadly Sistas' and 'BPC Young N Deadly Boys'. We thank James and staff from Jabalbina On Country Program for regularly visiting the College and sharing activities.
Students have enjoyed many activities such as cooking, storytelling and art projects such as boomerang and canvas painting, bean painting and a stringing activity.
After completing Primary school and moving into Secondary, the Deadly Sistas may join Yaburu Bulmba and Young N Deadly Boys may join the Bentley Park Clontarf Academy.
